VITAMIN D TOPIKAL PADA PSORIASIS: SEBUAH TELAAH SISTEMATIK

Abstrak

Terapi lini pertama psoriasis plak ringan hingga sedang adalah terapi topikal. Kortikosteroid topikal merupakan terapi lini pertama pada psoriasis, namun memiliki banyak efek samping. Vitamin D topikal merupakan alternatif sparing-agent kortikosteroid topikal untuk psoriasis. Tujuan tinjauan pustaka ini untuk menelaah berbagai penelitian mengenai efek vitamin D topikal monoterapi pada psoriasis. Pencarian data artikel dilakukan melalui PubMed dan Science Direct yang dipublikasikan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Analisis mengikuti kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Artikel memenuhi syarat apabila mengkaji efektivitas vitamin D topikal monoterapi pada lesi psoriasis. Telaah meliputi 13 penelitian acak terkontrol dengan melibatkan 8.391 pasien psoriasis. Bukti klinis menunjukkan vitamin D topikal bermanfaat pada psoriasis. Sediaan salap vitamin D memiliki penetrasi yang lebih baik. Efektivitas vitamin D topikal monoterapi lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan terapi kombinasi maupun kombinasi dengan kortikosteroid. Pemakaian terapi vitamin D topikal jangka panjang memiliki efek samping yang ringan.
