BERBAGAI MODALITAS TERAPI STRETCH MARK BERBASIS BUKTI

Stretch mark (striae distensae) adalah kelainan yang diduga disebabkan oleh faktor kekuatan mekanik, perubahan intrinsik struktur dan fungsi kulit, serta faktor hormonal. Kelainan ini muncul di usia 5 sampai 50 tahun, serta ditemukan paling banyak saat puncak pertumbuhan dan wanita, terutama wanita hamil. Stretch mark memiliki presentasi klinis berupa striae rubra berwarna eritematosa hingga terjadi hipopigmentasi dan atrofi disebut striae alba. Diagnosis kelainan ini dengan dermoskopi, mikroskop elektron, hingga pemeriksaan histopatologi, dengan diagnosis banding utama adalah linear focal elastosis dan anetoderma. Tidak terdapat pedoman standar yang tersedia untuk manajemen stretch mark. Berbagai pilihan pengobatan yang tersedia, antara lain terapi topikal misal dengan tretinoin, injeksi asam hialuronat, tehnik mekanik mikrodermabrasi, platelet-rich plasma, microneedling therapy, galvanopuncture, radiofrekuensi, karboksi terapi, terapi berbasis cahaya, dan laser, termasuk laser fraksional. Laser fraksional non-ablatif lebih disukai daripada ablatif karena risiko komplikasi lebih rendah dan waktu pemulihan lebih singkat, walaupun lebih banyak perawatan. Stretch mark adalah masalah umum yang menyebabkan masalah estetik hingga gangguan psikososial, artikel ini terutama akan membahas profilaksis dan pengobatan stretch mark berbasis bukti terbaru.
